Wardrobe Both men and women wear long wrap around skirts called "longyi". Traditionally a western style button up shirt or a jacket is wear with the longyi. Dance costumes are tight longyis. Traditional Festivals There are twelve months and twelve corresponding festivals. The most anticipated festival is The Naga New Year, it consists of dances, songs, and parades. Men and women dress up in their ancient ethnic costumes and celebrate in the middle of January.

Food Traditional foods from Myanmar are Mohinga, Buthi Kyaw, Thoke, Mandalay Mee Shay, and Shan Tohu. Mohinga is a breakfast fish noddle soup, it's flavored with turmeric, ginger, chili powder, garlic, and lemongrass. Buthi Kyaw is gourd fritter made with rice flour, chili powder, garlic, ginger, and water. Thoke is salad and is their version of fast food. Mandalay Mee Shay is a rice noodle and pork dish.
